Job Summary and Qualifications

Galen College of Nursing’s Content Marketing Manager is a creative marketing professional, with a writing background and extensive social media experience. This role will develop engaging content to attract and retain new students and build Galen’s reputation, while positioning us as a category leader in nursing education. For this position, it’s also essential to be up to date with new technologies and marketing trends.

Responsibilities:

• Build and manage Galen’s content marketing and social media strategy
• Create and manage the production of engaging and relevant content on a regular basis
• Collaborate with design and writing teams to produce high quality content for inbound marketing strategies
• Develop editorial calendar, delegate tasks and ensure deadlines are met to design, build and maintain our social media presence, managing a Social Media Specialist
• Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
• Plan, execute, and measure A/B and conversion tests
• Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience
• Design content marketing strategies and set short-term and long-term goals
• Edit, proofread and improve content
• Analyze marketing performance metrics
• Receive customer feedback and generate ideas to increase customer engagement
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 7-10 years of proven work experience as a content marketing manager
• Demonstrated expertise in social media platforms
• Proven experience with marketing automation platforms
• Proficiency in MS Office, WordPress or other Content Management Software
• Understanding of web publishing requirements
• Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences
• Project management skills and keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, Journalism or relevant field
• Hands on experience with SEO and web traffic metrics
• Highly engaged, team mindset
